Description
Bahrain Bay Development is a full Master Planned development, subdivided into 34 plots. The Project’s construction phase began in 2007 with reclamation works. Followed by Infrastructure (Roads and Utilities) Works, the majority of which were completed between 2008 and 2011.
All infrastructures were designed and installed by companies working for the Master Developer, Bahrain Bay Development. This major investment included:
- Roads network and lighting
- 220kV and 66kV substations
- 11kV distribution cable network
- Portable/water storage tanks and main pumping stations
- Wastewater pumping stations
- Irrigation, potable and wastewater networks
- ICT network
- Wastewater treatment works, delivering treated water for irrigation
